About Shweta Bisht:

I've done my Master’s in Computer Science from Nagpur University and am currently in my final year of MBA in Marketing and Finance (Batch 2018 - 2020) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. Being a defence ward I did my schooling from KV Hindon, Jaisalmer and Nagpur. During my internship period, I also did Google Certifications to enhance my skills and to gain more knowledge about the IT Industry. I was the former coordinator of Sports Cell. Also apart from academics, I have represented KV at the national level from Jaipur, Bhopal and Mumbai region in sports like Basketball and Table Tennis.

How was your overall experience?

My internship was 2 month long, the overall experience was very eye-opening. From the first day itself, the Mantra was “GO GO GO”. Being a start-up company the culture was very different. My internship started off with some basic understanding of the automobile sector. Post that I started working on their product development research as the future of the automobile sector is autonomous vehicles. Some days were dedicated field research and some days I attended and observed client meetings. Every day was a new challenge, a new opportunity to prove myself.

How was the selection process conducted? 

I had to go through 2 rounds of the interview that was conducted at the company office.

What was your project and how did you execute it?

My project was based on research about autonomous vehicles and current Indian perception on it. Also, it included competitor analysis by tracking the top competitors approach towards the autonomous vehicle.

How was the work culture at Accelo Innovation? 

The work culture at Accelo Innovation was pretty chilled as the people working around were of the same age as mine. The basic ideology was to get work done only and no as such restrictions were there. What were the key challenges that you faced during your internship?

What were the key learnings of your internship?
  • Do what gives you a kick
  • Treat everyone equally
  • How to keep calm when stressed or frustrated

Any memorable moments from the internship?

Yes, the Tadoba trip with colleagues was super fun.

Don’t go for any company just for the sake of internship, choose an internship that excites you. Also, never miss an opportunity to learn.
